KBF Design Gallery has done kitchen remodeling in Maitland and across Central Florida since 2003. Since 2020 its design showroom has stood at 1295 South Orlando Avenue, a short drive from Dommerich Estates, Lake Sybelia and Kaywood.
Cabinetry, stone, tile, fixtures and lighting are all on display there, so selections take days instead of months.
Much of Maitland was built mid-century around its lakes, and those floor plans often need a wall to come out. KBF plans that structural work in-house, with an engineer's design where required, and tells you what the wall needs before demolition.
One owner's 1986 Dommerich Estates kitchen lost its peninsula and gained a grand island without adding a square foot.

Yes. Structural work is part of KBF's everyday scope. Changes are confirmed by field verification and, where required, a licensed structural engineer's design, using engineered beams and properly sized posts. You learn what the wall needs before demolition, and the work is permitted and inspected.
KBF does. Addresses inside the city limits permit through the City of Maitland building division, and the surrounding pockets go through Orange County. The team checks which applies to your address, pulls permits under Florida license CGC 1529022 and schedules inspections into the build.
Most whole-home clients do. The work is zoned in phases with dust containment at each zone boundary, a working temporary kitchen while yours is down, and a weekly update so you know what happens next. A client portal tracks schedule, selections and progress between visits.
Studio KBF handles same-footprint remodels of any size, from one kitchen to every room, as long as walls and major plumbing stay put. If your project turns out to need engineering, the team tells you at the consultation and moves it to a full KBF Signature remodel.
